First project done..... (for real)

The legs of the woman looked too small in the original so I made them larger and more noticable. Added the knife and extra blood to give the overall piece a little more depth. My original knife was not doing it for me so I changed it up, added the shadow from the Polaroid to show separation between the objects. I feel much happier with this one so I believe it is my final. Tomorrow we start Flash animation so I am looking forward to that. Loving this class so far and excited about my career choice!!

This is the previous version with the knife I didn't like.

  1. Let me start off by saying, I LOVE your writing style. You hooked me at the beginning. I love the changes you made to the final version. The knife seemed more fitting, peeking under the lower right corner of your photograph. It definitely screams "thriller" to me. I do think the blood on the knife was a little funny looking, though. It looked more painted on the top of the knife as opposed to being dipped in blood like I would suspect it would be. And making the legs a bit bigger was a good move. Oh, and I LOVE your logo. I think it's fantastic. I'm very impressed. :)

  2. Great poster! show's that what you had mind is what you put on your poster.. i like the fact that you also added the blood onto the picture.. the knife went great with your theme that you were going for.. it's like you set the mood to your poster with the blood, knife, and the legs. Your font fits great with your flyer by just looking at your font it catches your attention. so great Job on making everything fit on your flyer and your theme fitting your flyer

  3. Seeing as how you changed some of the simpler things, but got such a drastic change to the overall effect of the picture truly astonishes me. Alas, my creativity has left me to the point I resorted to using a game to my advantage. Either way, I must say that I love everything about the picture. The knife at first did seem a bit off, but now I can say it does look better. This, is truly fitting to be a movie poster.

  4. Mr. Justin what can I say about your movie poster(s)! You are truly a head of your class. You first of all, left everyone speachless with this poster because you opened up the mind to say WoW what's really going to happen in this movie. It has to be the kind of movie when you go see it, you can't tell the next person what happens because its a must go see for yourself type of move. But, No you didn't stop with the first poster you turn around and just made things better then the first. Way to go with all the time and effort that you put into your project! I look to see more and better things coming from you and your working skills. Out standing job! A masterpiece......
